All our products comply with the European C.E.E legislation since we are part of Safadi Group -corporation with business units in textile, food, iron and real estate sectors, and with an authorized division for the distribution of medicines and sanitary material. Gefarma has a Purchasing Center located in Spain (specifically in the city of Valencia) with access to the most important port in the country which guarantees its logistical capacity. Currently, this Purchasing Center works with more than 200 suppliers of medicines and medical supplies of recognized international prestige.
‘Horizon 2020’
Gefarma has contributed to the supply of medicines for the treatment of malaria, HIV and the main vaccines of the country’s vaccination programs. In response to the founding principles of Safadi Group, Gefarma participates in the “HORIZON 2020″ project (a modernization program of the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea for the diversification of the country’s sources of growth), while developing together with Marathon Oil Company the solidarity project “See good to learn better” to promote ophthalmological examinations in Guinean schools and colleges.
Our projects
In its first ten years, Gefarma already distributes medicines to more than 400 pharmacies in Guinea and to the main hospitals in the country such as La Paz de Bata and La Paz de Malabo Medical Center, in addition to promote ambitious projects such as the first shopping center dedicated to Health and Beauty in Malabo (DOM) and the future Center for Medical Research in Guinea.
